Because my knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and technique is greater than the majority of other massage therapists in the area, and that compliments a refined sense of touch and intuition about what a body needs, my rates are often higher than other therapists.  However, a bad massage can leave you frustrated or even injure your body!  Remember that you get what you pay for.

My standard is a 90-minute session at a rate of $150.  I understand that not everyone can afford these rates.  I do offer discounts for pre-booking additional sessions, referrals, and, in an effort to remain accessible to all, I am open to trades and alternative payment methods.

I also offer a sliding scale, and discounted rates for clients who have a clear need & desire for bodywork but who cannot afford it.  I know that people in such circumstance might end up seeing a therapist who is less skilled and might cause further harm, so it is important to me to remain a viable option. Please contact me to discuss signing up for my Pay It Foward program, which allows me to donate sessions.

PAY IT FORWARD My personal philosophy is grounded in volunteerism, and I have set up Restorative Somatic Therapies with that goal in mind.  For every two sessions that I receive my full fee, I donate one session to someone who would not otherwise be able to receive professional bodywork. This allows you to know that your money is helping someone else, and it allows me to have a sustainable business while remaining true to my values.

Yes, I do offer gift certificates!  You can purchase one that I can send to you, or I will snail mail a card or email it (as a PDF) directly to your loved one.

A Note About Tipping: Please note that I am an allied healthcare professional (technically, a CAM practitioner - a Complementary and Alternative Medicine provider).  You probably would not offer a tip to your physician or nutritionist; please think of me in the same category.  My fee is high enough to fairly compensate me for my work.  If you can afford my full fee and would like to give more, know that I will happily accept a donation to my PAY IT FORWARD program to bring bodywork to those who cannot afford it.
